Role OverviewThe Director of Facilities ensures building, equipment, and grounds meet quality standards that provide optimal safety, service, and cleanliness to residents, visitors, and staff. This role involves responding to work orders, maintaining logs of safety equipment, and monitoring electrical and mechanical systems. The Director of Facilities also ensures proper chemical balance in the pool and spa, paints rooms as needed, and maintains an inventory of housekeeping and facilities supplies.
What You Will Do
The Director of Facilities will ensure residents' comfort by responding to work orders in a timely manner, maintain consistent and accurate logs of safety equipment, and monitor electrical and mechanical systems. The role also involves painting rooms and touch-ups as needed, maintaining an inventory of housekeeping and facilities supplies, and inspecting rooms and common areas on a weekly basis.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a health care setting is desired
- Previous management experience preferred
- TELS Masters Course completion within 30 days of hire date
- Must be able to handle objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and manage bulky objects
