Job Description
The Department of Social Services (DSS) is seeking a Director of Fair Hearings to oversee the operations of the Fair Hearing MAP Division. The successful candidate will plan, direct, and evaluate the operations of the division, develop measures to improve efficiency, and interpret the impact of new legislation on Fair Hearings operations.

Requirements

  • Permanent in the Administrative Director of Social Services Civil Service title, or permanent in a comparable title eligible for 6.1.9, or immediately reachable on exam #1121
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and four years of progressively responsible experience, including one year at the administrative or managerial level in a large governmental agency, business firm, civic or community organization operating in the area of social services
