Job Description
Responsible for managing all finance/accounting, purchasing and IT operations of the organization to include the production of periodic financial reports, oversight of the accounting systems, recordkeeping, and management of the comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the organization's reported financial results and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) as well as state and federal regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 8+ years of related and progressively responsible experience with 2 years of management experience
  • CPA preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IT and Purchasing desired
  • Ability to lead others in the department by mentoring and providing training
  • Excellent customer service/communication skills
  • Exceptional technical writing skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Ability to use computers programmed with accounting software to record, store and analyze information
