Director of Finance

This is a senior management role with responsibility for the financial health of the organization. The Director of Finance will oversee the company's financial activities, possess excellent business acumen, communication skills, and a strategic mindset. This is a working management position and will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

What You Will Do

The Director of Finance will lead all day-to-day accounting operations, manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, produce timely and accurate monthly financial statements, and ensure compliance with GAAP and organizational accounting policies.

Requirements

• Degree in accounting/finance
• Master's in Accounting or Master's in Business or associated field preferred
• Certified Public Accountant preferred
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in accounting
• 10 years of management experience
• Experience in a healthcare environment including but not limited to long term care facility and/or outpatient or inpatient services preferred
• Prior experience working within a Medicaid or Medicare facility preferred
• Prior Budgeting experience on a company-wide basis
• Demonstrated experience in managing a monthly financial close
• Excellent Communication skills
• Excellent Analytical skills
• Ability to develop and work within strategic initiatives
• Ability to direct the organization in operational efficiencies
• Ability to oversee financial management and strategy
• Ability to lead employees with respect, fairness, and example
• Cost Reporting, Audit, implementation and optimization of Oracle NetSuite experience
• Knowledge of Information Technology and current IT trends
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with ERP accounting systems
• Must maintain a current and valid driver's license if driving for Holy Angels
