Job Description
The Area Director of Finance will oversee accounting processes within two Hyatt Hotels, planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the accounting and control function. Responsibilities include short- and long-term planning, management of on-site accounting functions, and participation in total hotel management as a member of the Hotel Leadership Committee.

Requirements

  • 6 years or more of progressive hotel Accounting experience (typically with Hyatt)
  • Previous hotel pre-opening experience preferred
  • Hospitality or Accounting degree preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse backgrounds
  • Service oriented style with professional presentation skills
  • Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Must be an advanced user of Microsoft Word and Excel
