Role Overview

The Director of Food & Beverage is a key member of the resort's executive leadership team, responsible for providing strategic direction and operational oversight for all food and beverage outlets. This leader is responsible for creating exceptional guest experiences while driving financial performance, operational excellence, and a culture of service.

The Director develops and executes innovative strategies that elevate the resort's dining concepts, strengthen team engagement, and maximize revenue and profitability across all outlets. Success in this role requires a highly visible, hands-on leader who is passionate about luxury hospitality, talent development, and creating memorable experiences for both guests and team members.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 years of progressive food and beverage leadership experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Food Service Management, Business Administration, or a related field with equivalent leadership experience
  • Proven success leading multiple food and beverage outlets within a luxury hotel, resort, or upscale hospitality environment
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, labor, cost controls, and revenue optimization
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
  • A collaborative, hands-on leadership style with a commitment to creating an engaging team culture
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex operational challenges while maintaining exceptional guest service standards
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical decision-making
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems (Opera experience preferred)
  • A passion for luxury hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests and team members alike
