Director of Instruction

Requirements

• Teaches private and group golf lessons
• Develops a teaching philosophy and ensures consistency throughout the season
• Trains associates and ensures they maintain the teaching philosophy
• Develops customized golf schools for area and regional golfers
• Ensures all golf professionals are certified, qualified, and provide high-quality instruction
• Manages inventory of teaching aids and ensures proper functioning of video equipment
• Maintains accurate records of golf lessons and submits them to Payroll or Accounting
• Implements policies and procedures for the Golf Department
• Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, and directing work of associates
• Monitors business volume forecast and plans accordingly
• Ensures safe work practices and regular attendance
