Job Description
The NYC Department of Probation seeks to appoint a Director of Intergovernmental Affairs who will develop and manage all matters related to the agency’s intergovernmental affairs, external relations, and legislative agenda. This position plays a central role in advancing public safety by coordinating public information activities and policy development on legislative issues.

Requirements

  • Admission to the New York State Bar
  • Four years of recent full-time responsible, relevant, satisfactory legal experience
  • 18 months of experience in the supervision of other attorneys
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
