Role OverviewThe New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC) is seeking an experienced Director of Intergovernmental Affairs to serve as the agency's principal liaison with elected officials and their offices, other agencies, City Hall, community boards, business improvement districts, and other stakeholders on matters relating to legislation and communications. The Director will help shape the agency's long-term legislative and intergovernmental affairs strategy, ensuring TLC's priorities are understood and advanced.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include leading the Agency's Intergovernmental Affairs Strategy, managing the Commission's Legislative Portfolio, serving as Senior Advisor and Principal Liaison, preparing Executive Leadership for Hearings and High-level Engagements, fielding Constituent Inquiries, attending Public Outreach Events, and monitoring Developments Across TLC-Regulated Industries and Conducting Research.

Requirements
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college
- Two years of satisfactory, full-time experience related to the projects and policies to be studied in the position
