Job Description
The City of Philadelphia is seeking a Director of Investigations to lead the Investigations Division of the Citizens Police Oversight Commission. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investigative work, experience with community-police relations, and the ability to manage a team of investigators. The Director will be responsible for developing and implementing standard operating procedures, conducting complex investigations, and managing a team of investigators.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in criminal justice or other relevant field required
Law degree or other graduate level degree preferred
At least 10 years of relevant experience in investigative work required
Experience as law enforcement or within civilian oversight preferred
At least 10 years of managerial experience
Knowledge of Philadelphia and communities of Philadelphia
