Job Description
The City of Philadelphia is seeking a Director of Investigations to lead the Investigations Division of the Citizens Police Oversight Commission. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investigative work, experience with community-police relations, and the ability to manage a team of investigators. The Director will be responsible for developing and implementing standard operating procedures, conducting complex investigations, and managing a team of investigators.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice or other relevant field required
  • Law degree or other graduate level degree preferred
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in investigative work required
  • Experience as law enforcement or within civilian oversight preferred
  • At least 10 years of managerial experience
  • Knowledge of Philadelphia and communities of Philadelphia
