Role OverviewThe Director of Leasing will be responsible for finding space for City agency operations and negotiating leases and purchases on behalf of the City. The Director will oversee a team of transaction managers and a transaction specialist, providing guidance and structure in completing tasks. The Director will also communicate with client agencies on project status, next steps, potential or existing problem issues, budgets, and risk mitigation.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include identifying suitable sites, negotiating cost-effective commercial leases, preparing project schedules, and maintaining project status reports. The Director will also manage the development and timely completion of required legal documents, partner with the Design and Project Management unit, and communicate with external stakeholders.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 6 years of progressively responsible experience in real property management, with at least 18 months in a managerial capacity. Experience in building construction, property management, site management, and relocation is also required.

- 4-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent
