Job Description
The Director of Loss Prevention & Security is responsible for developing strategies to minimize company risk related to loss prevention and protecting employees, customers, and facilities. The role requires experience in security leadership, advanced understanding of security and risk management principles, and strong communication skills. The Director will lead incident management, investigations, and develop policies to promote proactive LP and Security objectives. The role also involves maintaining effective communications, relationships, and awareness of industry leading standards. The Director will engage with Operations and Risk Management leadership to review and develop LP and Security Programs, and execute critical program priorities. The role requires the ability to work full-time and such additional hours as required to support 24/7 business operations, continuous local travel, and some inter-regional travel.

Requirements

  • 20 years Security leadership experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • Advanced understanding of Security and Risk management principles, Law Enforcement, Security Law and Regulations, and Government, Employee and Community Relations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and advanced written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation and training facilitation skills
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and influence people at all levels, both within and across formal reporting lines
  • Financial acumen and organization skills to prioritize competing priorities and deliver results
  • Ability to work full-time and such additional hours as required to support 24/7 business operations
  • Continuous local travel and some inter-regional travel
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Drivers' license
