Role OverviewThe Director of Maintenance is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the maintenance department to ensure environmental center compliance with Federal, State, and Local ordinances, regulations, and building codes. The role involves ensuring the center is maintained in a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition, and providing quality laundry service.
What You Will Do
The Director of Maintenance will supervise all Environmental Services personnel, execute the Company's preventive maintenance program, and maintain records of accounts payable, supplies received, equipment maintenance, and other department business. They will also perform routine maintenance and repair work, work with residents and staff members, and communicate with management on best practices.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have one to two years of supervisory experience in a commercial establishment, knowledge of laundry/housekeeping/maintenance procedures, and a minimum of 2 years of work experience in long-term care. HVAC experience and maintenance experience are also preferred.
