Job Description
HPD seeks a Director of Moves & Portability for the Division of Tenant and Owner Resources to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations related to requests to move, port or transfer from participants in HPD's Section 8 program.

Requirements

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Moves & Ports Unit, supervising the unit Coordinator, Team Leaders, and staff.
  • Oversee daily unit operations, including facilitating tenant moves, reviewing and processing emergency move requests, and managing face-to-face customer service interactions.
  • Implement and maintain customer service best practices in alignment with City mandates, with a focus on professionalism, accessibility, and transparency.
