Role OverviewThe Director of Nursing is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the nursing department. They oversee the nursing staff and ensure quality care that meets or exceeds company and regulatory standards. The Director also assists in preparing the annual budget and monitors monthly performance.

Responsibilities include maintaining quality care, scheduling rounds, charting and documenting care, hiring and retaining staff, reviewing employee performance, and managing clinical aspects of state or federal government survey processes.

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Valid State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Current CPR certification
- 1-3 years of management or supervisory experience in long-term care or acute care
- Restorative or geriatric nursing experience preferred
- Proficient in the use of personal computer
- Ability to travel, including overnight stays
- Ability to maintain regular attendance
