Role OverviewThe Director of Operations reports to the Vice President of Operations and serves as the strategic business partner and leader to Managing Partners within an assigned region. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, talent development, succession planning, and execution of Carriage's Strategic Priorities.
What You Will Do
Recruit, hire, develop, coach, and evaluate Managing Partners to ensure strong leadership and business performance. Conduct monthly business reviews to assess results, identify opportunities, and ensure alignment with Carriage's Strategic Priorities.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Funeral Service, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in funeral service, multi-location management, or sales leadership
- Funeral Director License, Embalming License, and crematory operations experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) required
