Job Description
The Director of Orthodontics is responsible for providing operational leadership and direction to GEDC Ortho Practices, ensuring operational and financial effectiveness. The role involves recruiting and developing talent, monitoring schedules and key reports, and coaching and training staff to improve financial health and deliver orthodontic services.

Requirements

  • Extensive, multi-site Ortho experience
  • 10+ years of experience within operations management
  • 3-5 years supervisory experience of leading teams
  • Strong computer skills including: Microsoft Office and other business analytics systems
  • Superior customer services skills and successful record of customer relations management
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and professionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with managing budgets and delivering information from P&L statements and delivering strong results and growth
  • Track record of successfully resolving conflicts and fixing troubled situations
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Successful record of managing multiple projects with correct prioritization and time management skills
  • Ability to manage and properly communicate to providers
  • Ability to develop metrics to examine productivity and lead to a better understanding of needs for expansion
