Role OverviewWe are looking for a Director of Purchasing for a luxury resort in Montana. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role oversees the full purchasing function across the property, ensuring all departments are adequately supplied within operational budgets while maintaining compliance with purchasing policies, vendor relationships, and cost control targets.
What You Will Do
Manage all procurement activities including RFQ/RFP processes, bid evaluations, and supplier awards, lead contract negotiations and maintain cost-effective, well-managed supplier relationships, develop strategic pricing agreements and multi-location contracts where applicable, and report on inventory and costing performance to departmental and senior leadership.

- Strong relationship development and exceptional vendor negotiation skills
- Excellent administration, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; knowledge of purchasing, costing, and inventory management systems is a plus
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and flexible to meet changing business demands
- College or university degree preferred; industry certifications or professional training an asset
