Job Description
The AHFH Director of Real Estate Development & Acquisitions will collaborate with various teams to plan and develop AHFH home sites, including analyzing properties, negotiating purchases, and managing projects. Responsibilities also include producing pro formas, developing real estate budgets, and conducting feasibility analyses for property sites.

Requirements

  • 8 years of land development and/or real estate acquisition experience
  • Knowledge and experience in subdivision and multi-family development
  • Contract negotiation skills and familiarity with contract and real estate law
  • Understanding of zoning, rules, regulation
  • Proficiency in Office 365, with an emphasis on Excel
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Belief in and commitment to the Habitat mission
  • Able to work well with diverse volunteers, staff, Board, donors and community
