Job Description
The Office of the District Attorney, Bronx County is seeking a Director of Recruitment to provide professional recruitment expertise and support in the design, development, and management of the HR recruitment process. The ideal candidate will have experience in staffing, recruiting, and talent acquisition, as well as strong process improvement, analytical, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

  • Propose and implement creative low-cost or no-cost strategies to recruit prospective staff
  • Work with leadership team to assess staffing needs
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop and execute recruiting plans
  • Establish and maintain relationships with partner associations, community groups, and other potential sources of candidates
  • Supervise and train staff
  • Prepare comprehensive management report on the status of actions under his/her purview
  • Evaluate processes to ensure that the Agency objectives and goals on diversity and other employment initiatives are met
  • Conduct new hire orientation and provide on-going support to new staff
  • Enter data for various personnel transactions within NYCAPS
  • Process civil service transactions including DP-72 and DP-189
  • Assist with special projects and attend unit and citywide meetings
