Role OverviewThe Director of Safety and Security Services serves and protects the Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary community by upholding the mission to serve through highly trained, vigilant, and professional practices. The role combines strategic leadership with operational excellence in all aspects of campus safety and law enforcement liaison.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include implementing community policing practices, managing staff and patrol schedules, developing and monitoring service benchmarks, and overseeing the operation and integration of advanced security technologies.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years in patrol and community policing, a certified law enforcement or military police background, and a bachelor's degree in criminal justice or equivalent experience.
Requirements
- Christian with demonstrated Christ-likeness and high integrity
- A minimum of five years in patrol and community policing
- KCPD Private Officer License or ability to obtain within one month
- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice or equivalent experience
- Experience in a leadership role within a security or law enforcement agency
- Advanced training in emergency management, public safety, or related fields
