Director of Sales | Luxury Resort

The Director of Sales is a strategic, results-driven leader responsible for driving revenue growth and maximizing sales performance across key business segments. This executive will lead the resort's sales organization, including group sales, catering and events, leisure sales, and business transient, while partnering closely with Revenue Management and other commercial disciplines to optimize overall hotel performance.

Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies that maximize revenue, market share, and profitability across key business segments. Lead the sales components of the annual business planning process, budget development, revenue forecasting, and strategic market analysis.

Requirements

• Minimum 7+ years of progressive hotel sales leadership experience, preferably within luxury, lifestyle, resort, or destination properties.
• Demonstrated success leading high-performing sales teams and consistently achieving or exceeding revenue objectives.
• Proven experience in luxury group sales, catering, special events, weddings, and resort operations.
• Strong financial and business acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, revenue strategy, and profit optimization.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong understanding of sales strategy, account development, business mix, market segmentation, and competitive positioning.
