Director of Security

The Director of Security is responsible for overseeing safety and security for hotel guests and colleagues. This role involves strong guest service orientation, supervision and development of security team, and responding to guest and colleague emergencies and requests.

What You Will Do

The main responsibilities of this role include patrolling the hotel, ensuring all areas are monitored, understanding emergency manuals, and following proper procedures. The Director of Security will also be responsible for incident reporting, attending and participating in Hotel's Safety Committee, and representing the hotel in security-related legal and law enforcement matters.

Requirements

• 4 years + security management experience
• Security experience in an upscale environment
• Strong organizational skills

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to tolerate moderate amounts of walking
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Unafraid of customer service-related tasks and responsibilities
• Proficient in basic computer skills
