Director of Security

The Director of Security is responsible for overseeing safety and security for hotel guests and colleagues, ensuring a strong guest service orientation, and developing the security team.

What You Will Do

The role entails responding to guest and colleague emergencies, training hotel staff, and acting as a liaison between security and other hotel departments.

Requirements

• 4 years + security management experience preferred
• Security experience in an upscale environment is preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
• Capable of standing for long periods of time
• Ability to tolerate moderate amounts of walking
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Unafraid of customer service-related tasks and responsibilities
• Proficient in basic computer skills
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including, overnights, weekends and holidays
• Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
