Job Description
South University is seeking a Director of Student Success and Evaluation for its Physician Assistant program. The Director will be responsible for evaluating and enhancing student success across the didactic and clinical phases of the program, analyzing student performance data, and implementing targeted support strategies to improve outcomes. The role requires frequent travel to the Austin campus and a commitment to supporting student achievement, faculty collaboration, and program excellence.

Requirements

  • Terminal degree as a Physician Assistant
  • Current or emeritus NCCPA certification
  • PAs with active certification must be eligible for state licensure or hold an active, valid, and unencumbered state license
  • 2 years of academic experience with a PA program required
  • 2 years of clinical experience required, five years is preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (current standards preferred)
  • Expertise in pedagogy, learning and assessment, and demonstrated
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills with student, faculty, and staff populations
  • Superior organization, prioritization, and self-motivation skills
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite, ExamSoft, Learning Management Systems, and PA education platforms (Lecturio, Rosh Review, etc.)
