Role OverviewThe Director of Supply Chain and Logistics will oversee all Procurement, Logistics, and Customs Clearance functions, responsible for parts procurement, inventory management, and process control. This role will develop and implement standardized procedures to ensure the efficient flow of materials and the effectiveness of the order fulfillment process.
What You Will Do
Reduce part shortages, formalize forecasting, establish and implement formal PO management process and procedures, develop personnel in the Supply Chain and Logistic Departments, oversee inbound and outbound logistics, and manage relationships with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of logistics-supply experience, including 2 years of handling aircraft parts, and 5+ years of experience managing a large staff. Knowledge of MSDS, lATA, and international shipping requirements is also required.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university
- Five (5) years of logistics-supply experience, including 2 years of handling aircraft parts
- Five (5) years of experience managing a large staff
- Knowledge of MSDS, lATA, and international shipping requirements
