Role OverviewThe Director of Surgical Services provides strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for the Operating Room (OR), Pre-Operative Services, Ambulatory Surgery, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Sterile Processing (SPD). This role is accountable for the overall performance of Surgical Services, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care while advancing quality outcomes, patient safety, physician engagement, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, employee development, and financial stewardship.
What You Will Do
As a visible, hands-on leader, the Director partners with physicians, anesthesia providers, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize surgical services, develop high-performing teams, and drive continuous improvement. The Director leads the daily operations of the OR, Pre-Op, Ambulatory Surgery, PACU, and Sterile Processing departments.

Requirements
- Current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)-(AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Minimum of 5 years Acute Care experience
- Minimum of 2 years previous Administrative experience preferred
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
