Job Description
The Director of the Center for Autism Care will oversee the development of the center's clinical and research programs, provide state-of-the-art multidisciplinary medical and behavioral interventions for autism, and conduct research to develop new knowledge about autism. The center is a partnership between the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Children's Medical Center, and the ideal candidate will have a strong track record in scholarship in autism and human subject research experience.

Requirements

  • Ph.D./Psy.D., and/or M.D.
  • Texas medical license or Texas psychology license
  • Demonstrated leadership in an academic environment and in communicating with the community
  • Broad knowledge of ongoing clinical and laboratory research in autism
  • Commitment to and excellence in the care and/or clinical investigation of individuals with autism
