Role OverviewThe Director of Workforce Development is responsible for the administration, implementation, and oversight of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Adult and Dislocated Worker (A/DW) grant programs and related workforce initiatives in accordance with contracts established with the Eastern Area Workforce Development Board (EAWDB).
What You Will Do
Implement, administer, and manage WIOA Adult and Dislocated Worker grant contracts, ensure compliance with federal, state, EAWDB, and institutional regulations, and lead workforce policy development, program design, and strategic planning efforts.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of related workforce development, program administration, grant management, education, public administration, human services, or related experience
- Knowledge of policies, regulations, and compliance requirements pertaining to WIOA legislation and workforce development programs
- Experience supervising staff, managing programs, or administering grants
- Valid New Mexico driver’s license
