Role OverviewThe Operations Director is responsible for leading the Abaco Huntsville facility, planning and directing production at a strategic level, and formulating policies to achieve maximum productivity. The Operations Director will also be an active partner in ABACO’s Operational Excellence team to ensure best-in-class operations.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include ensuring a safe operating environment, leading the Quality Organization, ensuring compliance to standards, participating in Kaizen activities, and managing daily operational activities.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other technical discipline
- 8-10 years of related experience in production/manufacturing management
- Proven record of success as a 'hands on' operations management leader
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity and decision-making
- Proven ability to successfully handle multiple projects and meet critical deadlines
- Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, SAP, or other related business software
