Director, Planning & Strategic Sourcing

The Director, Planning & Strategic Sourcing is responsible for leading the procurement, planning, and category sourcing strategies for key materials, equipment, and services that are essential to renewable energy construction projects. This position is responsible for optimizing supplier partnerships, reducing costs, managing risks, and ensuring the supply chain supports Mastec Renewables’ sustainability and growth objectives.

What You Will Do

Develop and implement long-term sourcing strategies, identify and qualify new suppliers, optimize procurement processes, stay informed on market trends, build and maintain strong relationships with executive leadership at key suppliers, negotiate contracts, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, procurement, construction management or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 10+ years of procurement and strategic sourcing experience, with at least 5 years in a management and leadership role
• 5+ years of Energy industry experience preferred
