Role Overview

The Director, Portfolio Management and Strategy provides strategic leadership for the New York City Public Housing Preservation Trust's portfolio of real estate initiatives. Reporting to Trust leadership, this role oversees cross-functional projects that advance the Trust's objectives while strengthening portfolio management, asset performance, and organizational processes.

What You Will Do

The Director partners closely with Trust leadership, NYCHA staff, public agencies, developers, lenders, and other stakeholders to guide complex real estate transactions, implement portfolio and property management systems, develop policy recommendations, and improve project delivery.

Requirements

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
  • Four years of full-time satisfactory professional experience in the development, appraisal, financing, negotiation, or disposition of real estate, or in real estate law, or in urban planning or analytical or coordination work related to housing programs
  • Or a satisfactory combination of education and/or experience which is equivalent to the above
