Role Overview

Provide leadership to strategize, identify, select, manage, align & implement global sourcing & supplier management strategies and network capabilities for Capital Construction & Project Management (CCPM / CAPEX) categories, with specific focus on supporting the MedTech sector, Infrastructure equipment projects.

What You Will Do

Lead a team of eight experienced Manager/Sr. Managers, responsible for approximated $1B in annual capital spend (project driven) for J&J companies in the MedTech sector. Develop & shape category & spend performance strategies utilizing all available capabilities & tools (category strategy, market intelligence, advanced sourcing).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree (Business, Engineering, Science); MBA or other master’s preferred
  • 10+ years relevant professional experience
  • Exposure to MedTech and/or global markets is desirable
  • Strategic procurement, sourcing, category and supplier management experience in the supply chain environment
  • Experience working with technical, supply chain and functional partners
  • Strong business and finance acumen, and experience managing impact in complex matrix environment
  • Demonstrated team leadership, partnership, and cross-functional project capability
  • Ability to engage, interact, and negotiate enhanced value relationships with suppliers
  • Experience in a regulated, complex stakeholder environment; rich influencing skills
