Role OverviewThe Director, Reliability & Regulatory Compliance will lead reliability and regulatory compliance programs supporting generation, renewable energy, battery storage, and transmission operations. The role requires a minimum of 15 years of experience in regulatory compliance, reliability compliance, utility operations, power markets, engineering, or a related energy discipline.
What You Will Do
The Director will provide guidance on NERC, ISO/RTO, and other applicable regulatory requirements, oversee audits, reporting, filings, corrective actions, and compliance governance activities, and partner with Operations, Engineering, Asset Management, Cybersecurity, Legal, and Commercial teams to identify and mitigate compliance risks.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Law, Regulatory Affairs, Energy Management, Public Policy, or a related field
- Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience in regulatory compliance, reliability compliance, utility operations, power markets, engineering, or a related energy discipline
- Minimum five (5) years of leadership experience
- Experience working within electric utility, renewable energy, battery storage, transmission, or independent power producer environments
- Knowledge of NERC Reliability Standards and other applicable energy regulatory frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence technical, operational, and business stakeholders
