Role OverviewThe Safety Director is responsible for oversight of Corporate Safety and Health (S&H) Programs, effectively managing multiple Safety programs, developing and implementing CEC site-specific project safety plans, and collaborating with Project Management in the implementation and leadership of the Operational Risk Management (ORM) process.
What You Will Do
Leads development of and clearly articulates Company’s safety vision, objectives, strategies, policies, and procedures in order to build a safety culture dedicated to behaviors which lead to best-in-class results. Provides proactive leadership and assumes ownership of building a best-in-class safety culture by anticipating problems and providing solutions.

Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree
- Previous MEP/construction/industrial and commercial S&H experience
- Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 500 or Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) or Safety Trained Supervisor
- Degree in environmental health and safety, safety management, construction, or related field
- Safety Management Systems knowledge, skill and experience - ANSI-Z10, OHSAS 18001, ISO 31000
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
- Graduate Safety Practitioner (GSP)
- Associate Safety Professional (ASP)
- Bilingual (Spanish-Speaking) preferred
