Director, School of Public Policy

The Director will lead the School of Public Policy in the College of Leadership and Public Service, managing graduate programs, developing partnerships, and supervising staff. The position involves curriculum development, recruitment, and operations management. The Director will also teach assigned courses and participate in continuous improvement.

What You Will Do

Oversee curriculum, recruitment, scheduling, and operations of graduate programs. Lead nationally recognized programs that develop leaders in Public Service. Manage staffing, admissions, and student success. Develop research and publishing within the School of Public Policy.

The ideal candidate will have a doctorate or terminal academic degree with an emphasis on public policy, leadership, or public administration. Experience in leading organizations or public service is preferred, along with strong community/governmental partnerships and university teaching skills.

Requirements

• Earned doctorate or terminal academic degree with an emphasis on at least one of the following areas: public policy, leadership, public administration, community development (Ph.D. or EdD preferred)
• Experience in leading organizations or experience in public service
• Experience in and evidence of building strong community/governmental partnerships, successful professional networks, and university teaching
