Job Description
As Director of Social Services for a men's shelter in Brooklyn, New York, you'll manage a comprehensive program of social services to expeditiously place residents into permanent housing and assist them in becoming self-sufficient.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social work or related field preferred, with a Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum five years of management experience, including experience working with people experiencing homelessness.
  • Understanding of team concepts, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Experience working with the NYC Department of Homeless Services is preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
