Role OverviewThe Director, State Government Relations, serves as the primary contact point on all state government affairs matters, providing intelligence, advice, and support for all Group businesses and U.S.-based companies and Head Office.
What You Will Do
Provides intelligence, advice, and support for all Group businesses and U.S.-based companies and Head Office under the CLO direction concerning proposed regulatory and policy changes in states where the Group does business.

The role will directly contact the Senior Leadership Team and help drive decision-making based on the state and local government intelligence gathered and disseminated.
Requirements
- Strong Knowledge of regulatory and policy roles of state and local governments.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment.
- Ability to handle complex assignments.
- Excellent advocacy and negotiating skills.
- Strong interpersonal and management skills and ability to work with subordinates, contemporaries, and executive personnel.
- Strong communication skills
- Strong skills in use of M.S. Office, including M.S. Word, MS PowerPoint, and M.S. Excel spreadsheet systems.
