Role OverviewThe Director, Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management is responsible for developing and executing Cardurion's sourcing strategy to support the company's portfolio of work. This role leads vendor selection, contracting, financial oversight, and governance for external service providers supporting Cardurion activities.
What You Will Do
Develop and execute Cardurion's sourcing and vendor management strategy, establish a scalable vendor ecosystem, lead vendor identification, evaluation, and selection processes, design and execute competitive sourcing processes, and ensure vendor capabilities, capacity, and operational models support study timelines and quality expectations.

Requirements
- Proven experience handling confidential and sensitive information
- Possesses a broad view of the departmental goals and sees the 'big picture' scientifically and strategically

- BS or BA in Life Sciences, Business or related field (Advanced degree preferred)
- A minimum of 10 years of related work experience in Clinical Outsourcing, vendor management or Clinical Operations within the Pharmaceutical, Biotech or CRO industry
- Strong knowledge of clinical trial processes, GCP guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Proven experience negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships
- Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
