Role Overview

The Director, US Surgical Commercial Capabilities leads the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of commercial training and capability development programs across the US Surgical business. This leader is responsible for building and advancing the organizational capabilities required to accelerate seller productivity, support commercial growth, enhance customer engagement, and strengthen business performance.

What You Will Do

The Director will lead the US Surgical Commercial Capabilities organization, develop and execute commercial capability strategies, oversee onboarding and new hire development programs, partner with cross-functional leaders, drive excellence in sales effectiveness, and establish key performance indicators.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in commercial training, sales enablement, learning and development, commercial excellence, sales leadership, or related commercial functions
  • 7+ years of people leadership experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience leading managers and/or professional teams within a commercial, sales, training, or capability development environment
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing commercial training, sales enablement, onboarding, or capability-building strategies across large field organizations
  • Experience managing budgets, organizational priorities, and cross-functional initiatives with measurable business outcomes
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
