Job Description
City Year Greater Boston is seeking a creative, organized, and thoughtful Director of Volunteer Programs to lead a team of AmeriCorps Members in executing a robust calendar of volunteer opportunities.

Requirements

  • Lead service events and engagements for at least 1,500 volunteers annually
  • Collaborate with Development and Service Impact teams to create new volunteer opportunities
  • Develop and manage partnerships with school, community center, and city liaisons
  • Manage permitting and CORI process with Boston Public Schools and Boston Parks & Recreation
  • Lead AmeriCorps members and volunteers through execution of painting, mural, landscaping, light construction, and supply kit projects
  • Coach ACMs on all aspects of event and volunteer management
  • Collaborate across departments to create a strong pipeline of Civic Engagement AmeriCorps member candidates
