Dirt Operator - Austin Industrial (Houston, TX)

Requirements

• Must be able to operate electric, diesel, gasoline, or steam powered power construction equipment
• Must be able to excavate, move, or grade earth
• Must be able to raise, lower, and rotate boom and to raise and lower load line or to raise and lower blade or bucket
• Must be able to inspect equipment for defective parts and notify supervisor of defects or malfunctions
• Must be able to start engines, move throttles, switches, and levers, and depress pedals to operate machines
• Must be able to signal truck driver to position truck to facilitate loading of dirt, rocks, and other materials
• Must be able to take actions to avoid potential hazards and obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, and falling objects
• Must be able to clean, maintain, and lubricate equipment
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and may frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
