Job Description
H2M architects + engineers seeks a Water/Wastewater Discipline Engineer to join their team in Boca Raton, FL. The role involves independently completing complex engineering design, preparation of specifications, and compilation of technical reports.

Requirements

  • Lead projects utilizing technical knowledge and experience to develop the project team's overall capabilities.
  • Manages projects from planning to design and construction of water/wastewater distribution and conveyance systems.
  • Leads development of construction documents/specifications and handling engineering services during construction.
  • Meets established budgets and delivery schedules for each assignment.
  • Coordinates execution of projects with other disciplines.
  • Develops medium to large planning and design projects from inception to completion.
  • Prepares complete construction packages (including all deliverables) for the engineering, procurement, and construction of Water/Wastewater projects.
  • Creates and manages cost estimates and project schedules and will be responsible for completing design tasks within budget and on schedule.
  • Performs detailed engineering calculations & analysis and utilizes design software to solve complex issues.
  • Supervises and supports the work of others and mentors junior level engineer & design/drafting technical staff.
