Job Description
H2M architects + engineers is seeking a Discipline Engineer in the Water/Wastewater Discipline to join their team in Windsor, CT. The role involves completing complex engineering design, preparation of specifications, and technical reports. Responsibilities include leading projects, managing budgets, and coordinating execution of projects with other disciplines.

Requirements

  • 10-15 years' experience in planning, design, and construction of municipal Water/Wastewater
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field of study
  • Experience preparing, reviewing, and approving project drawings, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates
  • Experience in process design, treatment plants upgrades, and pump station design
  • Active in technical societies and trade organizations associated with Water/Wastewater
  • Strong data analysis and technical problem solving
  • Willingness to develop competence in a broad array of engineering related tasks
  • Ability to train and mentor junior level staff
  • Successful track record of proposal writing and development
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • P.E. required
  • PMP is a nice to have
