Job Description
The Disease Intervention Specialist will conduct investigations of communicable diseases, conduct client-centered interviews, and perform tasks related to preventing the spread of transmission of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and HIV. The position requires working in high-risk urban areas, transporting patients, and performing field investigative activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in public health
  • One year of work experience in a public health field is preferred
  • Valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and insurance rider required
  • Ability to interact sensitively with persons from diverse backgrounds
