Dishwasher

As a Dishwasher at José Andrés Group, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dish room and dish machine. You will also assist with cleaning other areas of the restaurant as requested.

What You Will Do

Your main responsibilities will include properly cleaning and sanitizing all dishes, glassware, utensils, and pots. You will also operate the dish machines and pot sinks, restock dishes, and remove garbage and recyclables.

Requirements

• Ability to physically handle knives, pots, or other items as well as grasp, lift, and carry same from shelves and otherwise transport up to 50 pounds to every area of the kitchen.
• Proper usage and handling of various kitchen machinery to include dishwasher, slicers, ovens, stoves, grinders, mixers, and other kitchen related equipment.
• Proper usage and handling of various chemicals.
• Must be able to exert well-paced ability in limited space.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and lift up to 80 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
• Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. occasionally.
