Role Overview

The Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized kitchen while assisting with basic food preparation tasks. This position ensures the flow of clean dishes, utensils, and equipment and helps the team by preparing ingredients according to established recipes and food safety standards.

What You Will Do

Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, trays, and food service equipment, inspect all items for cleanliness, and store clean dishes and equipment in designated locations. Assist with general kitchen cleaning tasks, perform food prep tasks, and follow food safety standards.

Requirements

  • High school Diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and protocols
  • Current King County Food Worker’s Card, or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of start date
