Job Description
The Dispatcher directs and monitors daily assignments, schedules drivers and bus assistants, and assigns vehicles to ensure daily coverage of all routes, field trips, and charter work. They also respond to emergency calls, facilitate emergency response networks, and coordinate mechanical service repairs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous dispatch experience preferred
  • Knowledge of surrounding geographic area
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to read and interpret documents
  • Ability to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction
