Role OverviewWe are seeking a Dispatcher to work on Saturdays, directing day-to-day route operations and reporting to Dispatch Supervisors. The role involves daily communication with drivers and clients, organizing activities to ensure safe and cost-effective operating performance, and tracking sign-in/sign-out times.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include taking client calls, communicating issues with drivers and Dispatch Supervisors, monitoring radio and telephones, and completing driver sign-in and sign-out daily. You may also assign trips to drivers and participate in analysis and review of operating performance.
Why It Might Be a Fit
To be successful in this role, you should have one year of previous Dispatcher experience, two years of Customer Service experience, and experience with Trapeze software. You should also be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain composure under pressure, and demonstrate a high customer service commitment.
