Job Description
Role Overview

The Dispatcher directs and monitors daily assignments, schedules drivers and bus assistants, and assigns vehicles to ensure daily coverage of all routes, field trips, and charter work. They communicate with drivers, assist with routing directions, and recommend disciplinary action when necessary. The Dispatcher also responds to emergency calls, facilitates emergency response networks, and coordinates mechanical service repairs.

Requirements

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Program and computerized routing software
